This is a special section to me as a small business owner, I truly want to reach out and help others. This is probably the best way I know to reach the most people.

If you read this web site, use all the "Free Services" and other links provided, then put them to work, you will succeed. I believe if you have a product, a web site, and a customer base already that you can double or triple that customer base through Internet Marketing or iMarketing. It will take time but the cost will be minimal if you implement these free strategies and techniques yourself.

There is a package and a formula for making this stuff work. I'll try my best to make it accurate.

1. Build a site - The old saying "If you build it they will come" does not apply but this is a good start. You can use templates or pre-built sites. Search html or css templates. Create your own web site or landing page. Or have someone create it for you.
   
   
2. Optimize site for search - This is the single most important thing you can do besides build the site. Search Engine Optimization A.K.A SEO can bring free targeted traffic for life.
   
   
3. Make Sales! - NO SALES?!? Well, search engines take forever and you don't have visitors. So what now?
   
   

O'k now we are getting some where. No one is going to your site and you are ready pay for some traffic building services. You can see it now, you pay, people come, you get rich. It sounds to easy. Well I have news. Most people don't buy on the first visit.

Nope, they don't always buy on the second visit either. Research says that it may take up to 7 visits for a visitor to become a customer. So before you go out and spend money on advertising, or even waste time on free advertising.

IMPORTANT TIP: SETUP A MAILING LIST AND SUBSCRIPTION FORM. (Infact, setup several!)

NOW you can drive all the traffic you want. Because you are now capturing visitor information, in other words, a name and email address. These are crucial to getting your visitors to come back and eventually turn into customers. Email campaigns are the soul, heart, and brains of this business known as Internet Marketing. The email campaigns we will setup will be CAN-SPAM compliant. That basically means its not SPAM because someone chose to join.

I can not stress how important it is to setup some sort of lead capture system on your web site. This is the biggest difference you will make in terms of productivity. I suggest making it the core of your site, easily accesible, in more than one place, also a pop-up, or exit pop-up. All large corporations take advantage of email marketing and it has been proven to be the most powerful marketing tool ever known to man. I use AWeber Email Marketing Software but there are tons of free mailing list programs. Search "Mailing list programs" and you will find one. PHPList is a free one.

All small businesses need to build a site with a lead capture mailing list system and then do some search engine optimization. Then if you are stuck and not getting visitors you can just pay someone to do the grunt work or use Pay Per Click. But at least you will be ready to take on the World, the World Wide Web that is... :)
